Pirate and Ocean Night Sky

I'm playing with watercolor toady. I'm not very good at watercolor, so painting a small area works better for me! The watercolor I'm using is Daniel Smith for the background and zig clean real brush for the pirate.

Dream Winter Deer

I made a card today that was meant to be a winter theme card but it turned out not so winter. To start off, I decided to use my favorite colors for snowy scenes as the background, which is distress ink salty ocean + ice spruce + white paint splatters. I picked up my favorite winter animal, deer as the center focus of my card. As I finished my background, I found that the background with stars looks kinda dreamy. So I decided to add some watercolored balloons to make it looks like the deer is flying. In the end, I added some iridescent stars and silver heart confetti.

Soft Color Forest Friends

Hello! I'm sharing a card today which I was very conscious about keeping my coloring soft. I'm always into soft colors but it has been difficult to maintin soft because as I add shading for dimensions, the color just gets darker and darker. I chose watercolor for this card since they tend to dry lighter.

Everything was straight forward in this card. I colored all the images with Zig clean markers. For the background, I lightly applied distresss ink antique linen on the four small rectangular MFT primitive white card stock.

Happy Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is coming. I made a card with the color theme in mind. I don't have any stamps with Chinese elements, but I really enjoyed working on these forest winter critters. I ink blended the background with distress inks and Copic colors all the images.
