It's A Boy

Inspired by MFT sketch challenge, I created a card for baby boys. I didn't have anyone specific in my mind to give this to. When I need it, I can either turn it into baby boy card or a boy's birthday card.

The background was ink blended with distress inks and bubbles were hand drawn using Copic markers. Drawing the bubbles were the most fun part of the whole process!

I'm submitting this card to the following challenges.

Teacher Appreciation Tags

Both of my boys are having teacher appreciation week at school. The school sent home a list of each teacher's favorite color, stationery, snack...etc. It was very nice and convenient for parents, not having to worry about picking the wrong things for teachers. I made 6 tags based off teachers' favorite colors and attached them to the gift bags.

I'm submitting this card to the following challenges.

  • Lawn Fawn fairy friends stamp set (LF)

From The Drawer

Today I'm sharing a card created using Waffle Flower's Popping In stamp set. This stamp set reminded me Doraemon, who is the most unforgettable cartoon character from my childhood memories.

Everything in this stamp set is so heart warming. My main goal for the card is the keep the colors soft and warm, since this is essential a home scene. I stamped the images with grey ink and colored them using zig clean color markers. For the background, I ink blended a piece of smooth card stock with distress scattered straw. An overall very straight forward card.
